Wir möchten euch gerne einen unserer neuen Tätigkeitsbereiche vorstellen:
Um das tolle Projekt One Happy Family – Community Center, Lesvos etwas zu entlassen hat Schwizerchrüz.ch, Michael Räber das Little Happy Family Teehaus eroeffnet. Nicht nur können hier geflüchtete Menschen aus den Lagern sich ein bisschen aufwaermen und etwas zu Essen und Trinken bekommen, es wurde zusaetzlich noch ein grandioses Projekt gestartet – das Baby Hamam.
Hier koennen Eltern ihre Babies und Kleinkinder waschen und ordentlich versorgen. Wir freuen uns sehr unsere bereits in Sindos bewährte Zusammenarbeit mit Swisscrosshelp weiterzuführen. Three Peas wird dieses Projekt sowohl mit Sach-/Spenden als auch mit Manpower unterstützten. Was uns besonders an allen bisherigen Projekten von und mit Michael und seinen Mitstreitern gefällt, sie arbeiten mit den geflohenen Menschen zusammen – man begegnet sich auf Augenhöhe.
Diese Tage laufen die ersten Tests der Waschboxen. Nachdem die Boxen benutzt wurden holen wir uns jeweils ein kurzes Feedback von den Eltern ein. Bis jetzt waren die Rückmeldungen durchgehend positiv. Ende Woche sollte die Testphase abgeschlossen sein.

LHF and Baby Hamam is open
Little Happy Family has opened a Baby Hamam and Three Peas is going to support with Donations and manpower.
You might have heard from the One Happy Family Community Center, it is a place where people from the camps can go to have some normal life, eat, drink, participate in any way they can and want. Volunteers and refugees have build and are running this project together. Since the situation on the island has got even worse and the days get colder, Michale Raeber from Swisscross decided to support OHF by opening a teahouse close by. Within days the team built a place where people can meet and keep warm – the Little Happy Family Teahouse was born.
What makes this place so extra special is the Baby Hamam. Families can come in turns to bath and wash their babies and toddlers. This is where we as Three Peas step in and support the project with donations and manpower.
We are happy to continue the work with Michael and his team like we did on the mainland in Sindos.
